Typically, we will meet somewhere outdoors in the Tahoe/Truckee area; I will be happy to make suggestions for locations.
With larger families I make sure to get several images of the big group, the individual families, grandparents with grandchildren, just the kids, and any combination you’d like. I love to get close-ups of each child or siblings together if possible – I know how cherished those are, my walls are covered in portraits of my son!
If you’re in town for just a few days we will schedule the session early in your trip, so we have enough time to fit in the in-person image viewing. I will come to you with samples, share your photos, and help you choose products, such as wall art, albums, or digital files. It’s a wonderful way to see your portraits with your whole family in a relaxed setting!
This is also when you place your order – be prepared, have an idea of what you’d like, measure your walls, and let me know if there is something specific you have in mind (such as a horizontal portrait over the mantle), so that I can photograph for that. Don’t forget gift prints for relatives you might need.
Sessions are $690, including a $500 credit toward products, and last 1-2 hours. Best times are mornings around 9, especially with children, or late afternoon into evening for soft light and sunsets.
